The European International Submarine Races (eISR) is one of the world's most prestigious student engineering competitions, organized by IMarEST and hosted at the renowned QinetiQ Ocean Basin in the United Kingdom.
University teams design, build, and race human-powered submarines, testing their skills in hydrodynamics, propulsion, buoyancy, steering, safety, and underwater performance. The challenging race course evaluates speed, precision, stability, and teamwork in a real-world marine environment.
Team InCraft proudly became the first Indian student team to compete at eISR 2026, representing India on the international stage. Their dedication and commitment to sustainable engineering earned them the prestigious IMarEST Sustainability Award, making history as the first Indian team to receive an award at the event.
The European International Submarine Races challenged us to innovate, adapt, and compete alongside the world's best student engineering teams. This milestone reflects our commitment to pushing the limits of sustainable marine technology.
